From the wilderness to the well

Meeting God in the dry, hidden places of life- the wilderness seasons where obedience is costly and the answers are slow. Here, we wrestle, we wait, and we remember:
God sees us. God meets us. God provides —even here.

Whether you’re navigating uncertainty, carrying invisible burdens, or longing for God to move — you are not alone. This space was made for you.

Let’s walk this journey with open hands and honest hearts — from the wilderness, to the well.

“You are the God who sees me.” — Genesis 16:13

About Me

Hi! I'm Anne- a wife, a mom, teacher, writer, and quiet fighter for faith in unseen places. I created From the Wilderness to the Well as a space for anyone walking through the in-between- those dry, uncertain seasons where the path feels uncertain and God's voice feels distant.

This blog was born out of my own journey-one marked with hard decisions, quiet surrender, and answers that didn't make sense on paper. There have been moments of deep frustration, unmet expectations, and the quiet ache of waiting.

But in that wilderness, I've met God in surprising ways- in stillness, in surrender, and eventually, at the well.

I've learned that He sees us — even when no one else seems to.

This space is for the person who:

  • Feels stuck in a season of waiting, transition, or spiritual silence

  • Is wrestling with a calling or decision that’s hard to explain

  • Longs to trust God fully, even when things don’t add up

  • Needs a quiet reminder that they are seen, held, and not forgotten

You won’t find easy answers here. But you will find scripture, honest reflections, and encouragement from someone walking the road with you — from the wilderness, to the well.

“You are the God who sees me.” — Genesis 16:13
