About From the Wilderness to the Well

This space was born from a deep need — not just to share my story, but to create a quiet place for others walking through dry, uncertain seasons of life and faith.

The wilderness shows up in many ways:
In unanswered prayers.
In hard decisions.
In silent marriages.
In callings that don’t make sense yet.

This blog isn't about having it all figured out. It's about staying with God in the in-between.
It’s about holding onto hope when the path is unclear — and trusting that God still meets us, even here.

From the Wilderness to the Well is a journey of:

Wrestling with purpose and calling

Learning to listen in the silence

Finding strength in surrender

Being seen by God when no one else sees you

I write from personal experience, but this blog is not just for me.
It’s for you — if you’re tired, stuck, waiting, or unsure.
It’s for the quiet faith-warriors who are showing up anyway.

You are not forgotten.
You are not alone.
And even here — in the wilderness — you are being led somewhere holy.

“Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, ‘You are the God who sees me.’” — Genesis 16:13

About Me

I’m Anne — a wife, a mom, a teacher, and a writer learning to live by faith in both the quiet and the chaos.

By day, I work in education, helping young minds grow.
By night (and nap time), I write words that help me make sense of this journey with God — especially when it doesn’t make sense on paper.

I don’t have all the answers.
But I believe in a God who sees, who speaks, and who shows up — even in the wilderness.

When I’m not writing, lesson planning or spending time with my family, you’ll find me sipping tea, reading something soul-stretching, or trying to sneak in a quiet moment of prayer.
